Angers SCO 2 - 1 Caen: Angers continue winning run in Ligue 1
Posted Thursday, September 22, 2016 by PA
Angers defeated Caen 2-1 to make it three wins in a row in Ligue 1.
After losing their first three games, Stephane Moulin's team have bounced back superbly and secured the three points with goals from Billy Ketkeophomphone and Cheikh Ndoye.
Ketkeophomphone's opener came after only 12 minutes, the striker firing in from close range after Ndoye had set him up.
The home side had the better of the chances and it was no surprise when they netted their second nine minutes after the break, Ndoye heading in Thomas Mangani's free-kick.
Substitute Yann Karamoh halved the deficit in the 71st minute but Caen could not find an equaliser.
