Posted Sunday, September 18, 2016 by PA

Stephen Dobbie continued his impressive scoring form this season with a brace as Queen of the South beat Raith 3-1 at home in the Scottish Championship.

The experienced striker took his tally to nine in eight games to help Queens to a seventh successive victory in all competitions.

Dobbie opened the scoring seven minutes into the second half, slotting into the bottom corner, before firing a second into the top corner in the 68th minute.

Dean Brotherston added a third 10 minutes from time, just moments after coming off the bench, with Jean Yves Mvoto heading in a late consolation.

There was still time for man of the match Dobbie to hit a post.
