Stenhousemuir vs Peterhead - Injury boost for Stenhousemuir boss Brown Ferguson

Stenhousemuir boss Brown Ferguson has some good news on the injury front as his side bid to bounce back from last week's 4-0 loss at Albion Rovers.

Fraser Kerr is back from suspension for the visit of Peterhead while Jim Paterson, Ciaran Summers, Vinnie Berry and Kieran Millar are expected to shrug off knocks.

Ferguson said: "I felt for the players last week as they did not deserve it. For the first 65 minutes of the game we played really well but losing the first goal drained confidence.

"Peterhead were an excellent side last season and are showing signs they are coming alive again so we need to stay solid for 90 minutes to give ourselves a chance."

Peterhead boss Jim McInally hopes his side's 2-0 win over Queen's Park last week has given them the platform to continue climbing the table.

The visitors have Jamie Stevenson and Simon Ferry back in contention after injuries while Ryan Baptie could also start after shrugging off a sickness bug.

However McInally will have to cope without Ross Smith who has been ruled out with a thigh injury.

McInally said: "Stenhousemuir are at the bottom now and we know how much effort we put in to get away from there, so we are facing a tricky game."
