Queen of South vs Raith - Queen of the South aim to copy Raith success

Queen of the South pair Scott Hooper and Lyndon Dykes are available for the visit of Raith.

The pair have not featured for the past month and Mark Millar is also included after suffering a knock in the 3-1 win at St Mirren last weekend.

Manager Gavin Skelton wants his side to copy what the Kirkcaldy men did last season, explaining: "Raith got into the play-offs after building momentum and picking up wins at key times.

"We have started well and it would be great if we could do something similar by winning this game."

Raith have Chris Johnstone back for the trip to Dumfries, but Craig Barr and Scott Robertson (both hamstring) are absent and Jean-Yves M'Voto and Mark Stewart are nursing niggles.

Goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert could be fit after more than a month out, but he might have to settle for a place on the bench.

Raith manager Gary Locke said: "Queen's are bang in form just now, so we are going there knowing that it will be a difficult game.

"However, they are only two points ahead of us and a win would see things turn around."
