Southend vs Millwall - Michael Timlin missing for Southend's encounter with Millwall

Southend will again be without Michael Timlin for the visit of Millwall after the midfielder suffered a setback in his recovery from a hamstring injury, which will keep him sidelined for around another two weeks.

Centre-back Anton Ferdinand missed the 4-0 defeat by Scunthorpe because of a hamstring problem, but should be available again.

Midfielder Anthony Wordsworth has stepped up his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury and has trained this week as he targets a return, while forward Nile Ranger (ankle) remains out.

Defender Ryan Inniss, who joined on a season-long loan deal from Crystal Palace on deadline day, could be included in the squad after being released from prison following a successful appeal against his original 14 week sentence for assault, which has been suspended for 18 months.

Millwall manager Neil Harris must decide whether to recall Lee Gregory.

The striker is again in contention following a hip injury and has returned to training.

Harris is, however, still without Shaun Hutchinson and Shaun Cummings.

A hamstring injury means Hutchinson is not expected to return for the next fortnight, while Cummings' knee problem ensures he remains a long-term absentee.
