Charlton vs AFC Wimbledon - Russell Slade must decide whether to recall Charlton duo

Charlton manager Russell Slade must decide whether to recall Johnnie Jackson and Lee Novak for Saturday's Sky Bet League One visit of AFC Wimbledon.

Both have recovered their fitness after injury. Novak scored as a substitute in last weekend's 2-2 draw at Fleetwood following his recovery from a hand injury.

Slade is, however, still without Ahmed Kashi because of a long-term Achilles injury.

El-Hadji Ba and Jorge Teixeira are close to returning but Saturday's fixture will prove too soon because they remain short of match fitness.

AFC Wimbledon will be at full strength as they attempt to bounce back from last weekend's 3-2 defeat to Sheffield United.

The Dons had been seeking to build on their 2-1 win over Chesterfield but conceded three times at Kingsmeadow, and they remain on five points from seven games.

With no new injury or suspension concerns, Neal Ardley may be tempted to shuffle his backline but new signing Chris Robertson is almost certain to miss out.

The 29-year-old Scot signed for the club from Ross County at the end of last month but is still settling into his new surroundings and may play a reserve game before being brought into first-team contention.
