Crawley Town vs Luton Town - Aliu Djalo to miss Luton visit as wait for Crawley debut goes on

Crawley are still without new signing Aliu Djalo but could have fellow midfielder Jordan Roberts on the bench following a toe injury for the visit of Luton.

Guinea-Bissau international Djalo is still waiting for international clearance after joining on transfer deadline day but Roberts is in contention to make his first appearance since early August.

Forward Matt Harrold remains sidelined by an Achilles injury and is set to be out for four to six weeks.

Crawley signed midfielder Dean Cox on Tuesday but he cannot play for them until January as he joined outside the transfer window.

Luton will have top scorer Danny Hylton available for the trip to the coast despite a facial injury sustained in last week's 2-1 defeat to Grimsby.

Hylton, who has scored five goals for the Hatters so far this season, has been passed fit for the game but will have to wear a protective mask.

The news means manager Nathan Jones has a number of options up front with youngster Isaac Vassell aiming to feature again after impressing against the Mariners.

Jones went on to confirm he has no further injury concerns ahead of Saturday's game.
