Huddersfield Town vs Queens Park Rangers - Same again for Huddersfield boss David Wagner

Posted Thursday, September 15, 2016 by PA

Huddersfield head coach David Wagner is expected to choose from an unchanged squad for the home game against QPR.

Wagner has no new injury or suspension problems following his side's first defeat of the season at Brighton in midweek.

Joe Lolley remains sidelined with a foot injury which has kept him out of the last four matches, and although fellow forward Sean Scannell has returned to training following a hip problem, he remains doubtful.

Striker Nahki Wells, midfielder Kasey Palmer and defender Michael Hefele are all pushing for recalls after starting on the bench in recent matches.

QPR are likely to be without James Perch, who could be facing a long spell on the sidelines.

The defender, playing in an unfamiliar wide midfield role, went off on a stretcher with a knee injury during the 6-0 home defeat by his former club Newcastle on Tuesday night.

Recent signing Pawel Wszolek replaced Perch and could now be handed a full debut.

Sebastian Polter (glute) and Massimo Luongo (illness) missed the midweek hammering and will be assessed, but Joel Lynch is fit after an abdominal injury.
