Man City boss Pep Guardiola reveals that he did not have a drink with Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has revealed that he did not share a drink with Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho after the Manchester derby according to The Sun.

The same outlet previously reported that Mourinho would offer a drink to Guardiola after the derby however, the Spanish tactician has state that he was too busy to attend.

When asked whether he and Mourinho managed to find time for a drink, Guardiola said:

"No, we have a lot of things to do after the game. So we spent one hour with the radios, press conference and so on and so we have no chance," Guardiola was quoted as saying by the Sun.

However, Guardiola insisted that there is no bad blood between himself and the United manager.

"I have said many times I have a lot of respect for him," Guardiola said last week.

"I always try to learn from all my colleagues and opponents and I learn from him as well."

City recorded a 2-1 victory over United in the Manchester derby had have been highly praised for their style of football on the day.

Manchester United take on Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday before returning to face Watford FC in the Premier League.
