Chievo 1 - 1 Lazio: Stefan De Vrij grabs point for Lazio

Lazio defender Stefan De Vrij's second-half header earned his side a 1-1 draw against Serie A rivals Chievo at the Marc'Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.

Chievo broke the deadlock six minutes into the second half when Valter Birsa's cross following a short corner was headed home from close range by Alessandro Gamberini.

But the home side's lead was short-lived as Lazio equalised three minutes later. Lazio substitute Balde Keita headed on a free-kick into the box and Holland international De Vrij nodded the ball beyond Chievo goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino into the bottom corner.

Lazio defender Stefan Radu headed narrowly wide in the 85th minute and Chievo substitute Bostjan Cesar's header three minutes later flew just over as the points were shared.
