Peterhead vs Queen's Park - Smith back for Queen's Park test

Peterhead goalkeeper Graeme Smith is fit again for the visit of Queen's Park after a knee injury.

Jamie Stevenson is also available after a hamstring problem but Ryan Baptie could miss out after illness with Simon Ferry and Rory McAllister doubtful due to knocks.

Ahead of the game Blue Toon boss Jim McInally said: "I was really pleased with how we played against Dundee United last weekend and thought that we were going to be the side that won the game in extra time.

"However, they got the goal and now we must look to deliver a performance at that level again against a good Queen's Park side."

The Hampden side are without the injured Gavin Mitchell (foot), Tony Quinn (hip) and Jamie McKernan (foot) with talented youngster Liam Brown also struggling.

Head coach Gus MacPherson said: "We have defeated Livingston and Morton in our last two games without conceding a goal and that is terrific work. All I can ask the players to do is to keep doing what they have been doing.

"Peterhead are not a bottom of the table side and their potent strike force will ensure that they climb away from there. However, we would like to keep them waiting to do that for another week by shutting them out and earning another win."
