Millwall vs Coventry - Lee Gregory a doubt for Millwall

Posted Friday, September 09, 2016 by PA

Millwall striker Lee Gregory is doubtful for the visit of Coventry due to a hip injury.

Defender Shaun Hutchinson remains sidelined by a hamstring problem and winger Shaun Cummings is continuing his recovery from a long-term knee injury.

Recent signing Calum Butcher has been struggling with a slight back injury but he trained this week and is fit for selection.

Jimmy Abdou, Shane Ferguson and Kris Twardek were on international duty for last Saturday's draw with Bradford and are also back in contention.

Sam Ricketts is set to return for Coventry after being rested for their 2-0 defeat at Fleetwood last week.

The skipper was given a break after playing in six of the Sky Blues' opening nine games and is likely to replace Cian Harries in defence.

Chris Stokes and Ivor Lawton remain long-term absentees while Andy Rose is expected to be out for a number of weeks with a knee injury.

Tony Mowbray's side are yet to win in Sky Bet League One this season and sit second bottom of the table after six games.
