Raith Rovers vs Falkirk - Raith boss Gary Locke has injury headache

Raith Rovers manager Gary Locke has delayed naming his side to face Falkirk at Stark's Park as Yaw Osei, Jean-Yves Moto, Chris Johnstone and Scott Roberts are all struggling with knocks.

Goalkeeping duo Kevin Cuthbert (dead leg) and Aaron Lennox (hamstring) remain out injured along with Craig Barr and Scott Robertson, who have hamstring injuries.

Better news sees the return of Jason Thomson from a ban and Jordan Thompson after international duty with Northern Ireland's under-21's.

Locke said: "We were a bit stretched against Forfar last weekend and we did not get the result that we were after so we have to do better against a strong Falkirk side."

Falkirk welcome back goalkeeper Danny Rogers after he missed last Saturday's 6-1 win over Elgin City in the Irn-Bru Cup as he was involved with the Republic of Ireland's Under-21 squad.

Peter Grant continues to be absent with a knee injury with manager Peter Houston telling his players to ignore Raith's defeat to Forfar.

Houston said: "Raith are a well-organised side that have been going very well in the Championship.

"They will fancy their chances against us but having won so well last weekend we have the chance to start building some real momentum if we win this game and we intend to take it."
