Stevenage Borough vs Crawley Town - Dale Gorman should be in contention for Stevenage

Posted Friday, September 09, 2016 by PA

Stevenage expect Dale Gorman to be available for their Sky Bet League Two clash with Crawley despite the defender suffering a knock on international duty with Northern Ireland Under-21s.

Fellow midfielder Jobi McAnuff is also due back after playing in Jamaica's World Cup qualifier against Haiti.

Defender Luke Wilkinson and forward Ben Kennedy have been training as they bid to overcome injuries.

Midfielder Steven Schumacher, out since last November with a knee injury, is close to a return after stepping up his comeback with an appearance for the reserves.

Crawley hope to hand a debut to former Chelsea Academy player Aliu Kaby Djalo.

The 24-year-old midfielder joined the club on transfer deadline day but missed the loss at Portsmouth as he was on international duty with Guinea-Bissau.

He has trained with the team this week and is expected to receive international clearance in time to feature.

Midfielder Jordan Roberts has suffered a setback in his recovery from a toe injury and forward Matt Harrold is also likely to remain on the sidelines.
