Yeovil Town vs Hartlepool United FC - Bevis Mugabi back for Yeovil

Posted Thursday, September 08, 2016 by PA

Yeovil boss Darren Way could recall Bevis Mugabi for the home clash with Hartlepool after the defender completed his one-match suspension.

Loanee duo Ben Whitfield and Kyle Copp are still looking to make their first league starts.

Ryan Hedges should return to the starting XI having been away on international duty with Wales' Under-21 side.

Kevin Dawson and new signing Izale McLeod are likely to keep their places after both featured in the 3-0 home defeat to Blackpool last time out.

Hartlepool boss Craig Hignett will have Rob Jones available after a back injury which has sidelined him since August 13.

Fellow central defender Matthew Bates will be assessed after he sat out last weekend's 6-1 horror show at Stevenage with an ankle problem sustained in the 2-2 home draw with Newport.

Goalkeeper Trevor Carson is back in contention after his return from international duty with Northern Ireland, as is defender Liam Donnelly who has been away with the same country's Under-21 squad.

Loan signings Bradley Fewster and Tom Heardman both played an hour for the reserves on Tuesday afternoon and will hope for senior involvement at Huish Park.
