International break is still in full-swing this week. If you are not a fan for international games, you may get tired of the boring days. But action-packed matches will never in short supply in the form of World Cup Qualifier.

1) Paul Pogba - Juventus to Manchester United - €105 million

After long-term waiting, Manchester United have completed the prodigious 5-year signing of Paul Pogba from Juventus. This 23- year-old midfielder returns to Old Trafford four seasons after departing for Italy, breaking the all-time transfer record with the transfer fee of €105 million. As Mourinho's fourth signing player, Pogba also holds an important position for the Red Devil's renaissance.

2) Gonzalo Gerardo Higuain - Napoli to Juventus - €90 million

Pogba's switch might be a lost to Juventus, but the Serie A giant pulled off a monster signing of Gonzalo Higuain from Napoli. The Argentina striker, who scored 36 league goals in 35 games for Napoli last season, become the third most expensive player in history for the fee of €90 million.

3) Hulk - Zenit St Petersburg to Shanghai SIPG - €55.8 million

The Russian club announced on June 30th that, Hulk, the Brazil international striker will move to China in a 4-year contract for €55.8 million. His arrival in some ways inspired Chinese soccer official, who said that Hulk could be joined by Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi one day as China casts an eye toward eventually hosting a World Cup. And, who knows if it will happen in today's wild transfer?

4) John Stones - Everton to Manchester City - €55.6 million

In last season's summer transfer window, the 22-year-old was the subject of three transfer bids by Chelsea, but all of them were turned down by Everton. Manchester City have finally secured the signing of John Stones, paying €55.6 million to make him the second most expensive defender in history after David Luiz.

5) Leroy Sane - Schalke 04 to Manchester City - €50 million

Leroy Sane is worth the €50 million fee and City penned a 5-year deal with this Germany international. However, this 20-year old midfielder might be lack of games in Bundesliga, and will he prove to be value for money after moving to the Etihad Stadium? Let's find out the answer in the new season.

6) Granit Xhaka - Monchengladbach to Arsenal - €45 million

The Professor confirmed Arsenal's first summer signing with Monchengladbach captain Granit Xhaka for €45 million. This midfielder excels in fighting and long-passing, which might be fit in with Wenger's teaching style. New Arsenal Midfielder has also impressed fans with his presence in the midfield during the games against Leicester and Watford.

7) Henrik Mkhitaryan - Borussia Dortmund to Manchester United - €42 million

Mouriniho signed with stars Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Eric Bailly, Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan after taking over Manchester United. Borussia Dortmund star Henrikh Mkhitaryan moved to Old Trafford by the fee of €42 million and he also made an impressive debut in a 2-0 pre-season win over Wigan.

8) Sadio Mane - Southampton to Liverpool - €41.2 million

Sadio Mane is the fifth player to make the switch from Southampton since the summer of 2014 - following Adam Lallana and Rickie Lambert, signing with Liverpool on a five-year deal for €41.2 million. During his Reds debut, Mane impressed in a 45- minute outing in the first of nine Liverpool preseason friendlies, leaving Jurgen Klopp content.

9) Shkodran Mustafi - Valencia to Arsenal - €41 million

German World Cup-winning centre back Shkodran Mustafi joined Arsenal in a €41 million deal from Valencia in the final week of the transfer window. And he is expected to make his debut for Arsenal in this weekend's game against Southampton. This new boy's arrival not only soothed the impatient fans, but also strengthened the centre halfback of the squad.

10) Joao Mario Naval da Costa Eduardo - Sporting Lisbon to Inter Milan - €40 million

Inter Milan have snapped up Joao Mario from Sporting CP on Aug. 31. The 23-year-old midfielder, who is the major player in the midfield, has been favorite among many European giants after the end of 2016 Euro Cup, and the Nerazzurri finally completed the transfer.

* 2018 World Cup European Qualifier

Slovakia 0 - 1 England: Sam Allardyce made his bow as England manager when the Three Lions challenged Slovakia in their opening World Cup qualifier. In the second half, Martin Skrtel was sent off for his reckless stamp on Harry Kane. Slovakia were down to 10 men! England made use of this advantage when Adam Lallana scored a winner in the stoppage time. Allardyce celebrated passionately on the touchline as he got a dramatic winning start.

Norway 0 - 3 Germany: The reigning world champions Germany visited Norway in their World Cup qualifying campaign, as they began their journey to defend the title. Thomas Muller scored a brace and spurred an assist for Joshua Kimmich's first goal for his country. Julian Brandt wasted two good late opportunities, but damage had been done. Joachim Low's side made a good start as they claimed a resounding 3-0 victory.

Spain 8 - 0 Liechtenstein: Spain took on Liechtenstein in their first qualifier. It proved to be relentless slaughter as La Furia Roja eased to a thumping 8-0 victory in Leon. 7 of all these 8 goals came from the second half. Diego Costa, Alvaro Morata and David Silva all scored twice as the Spaniards continued their good form under the new boss Julen Lopetegui.

Israel 1 - 3 Italy: Giampiero Ventura's first formal match as Italy coach ended with a 3-1 victory over Israel. Graziano Pelle took the lead and Antonio Candreva made the score 2-0 with a penalty. However, Israel did pull one back through Tal Ben Haim's stunning lob shot. In the 54th minute, Giorgio Chiellini was sent off for receiving his second yellow in this game. But substitute Ciro Immobile sealed the win for 10-men Azzurri.

Sweden 1 - 1 Netherlands: The Euro 2016 outcasts Netherlands returned to the public attention in their opening World Cup qualifier with Sweden. Marcus Berg's glorious finish broke the deadlock just before the half time. Wesley Sneijder scored the equalizer as he managed to salvage Danny Blind's team. Both sides shared the spoils in Sweden.

Switzerland 2 - 0 Portugal: The newly-crowned European champions Portugal visited Switzerland in qualifier. Cristiano Ronaldo was sidelined by injury in this clash. Breel Embolo's header opened the scoring, and Admir Mehmedi extended the lead through counter-attack. Portugal made the final effort to narrow the gap, but Nani's header hit the upright. Fernando Santos suffered his first defeat in formal games as Portugal's boss.

Belarus 0 - 0 France: France were held to a 0-0 draw by Belarus. Olivier Giroud and Antoine Griezmann were both close to finding the net for Didier Deschamps' side. In the 58th minute, Raphael Varane's header hit firmly on the crossbar, which was Coq Gaulois' best chance in this game. This qualifier finally ended with a goalless draw.

* 2018 World Cup South American Qualifier

Brazil 2 - 1 Columbia: Brazil took on Columbia in the South American qualifier. The Selecao got a perfect start when Miranda opened the scoring through a header, but it was cancelled out by Marquinhos' own goal. In the 75th minute, Neymar's low shot had beaten Ospina. The Barcelona striker helped Brazil claim a narrow win.

Venezuela 2 - 2 Argentina: Argentina challenged Venezuela away from home. Lionel Messi was absent in this clash due to a hamstring injury, which proved to be costly for Edgardo Bauza's side. Juanpi and Josef Martinez gave Venezuela a 2-goal advantage. La Albiceleste then fought back to level the score through the goals by Lucas Pratto and Nicolas Otamendi. Argentina struggled to grab a point in Merida.

* Arsenal forward showed off muscle to prove fitness

Recently Oxlade-Chamberlain posted a picture on Instagram to reveal what he rewarded from his effort on the gym - a strong body covered with well-curved muscles. It lookd quite reassured for the Gunner's fans as the Arsenal forward would play against Southampton at home on Saturday.

* Manchester United deserted guy back ...with his girlfriend

Manchester United defender Matteo Darmian came back from his international duty. It's reported that the Italy international may have the chance to play his first game under Jose Mourinho's guidance ahead of their Manchester derby. Before he flied to England, he took a sweet selfie with his girlfriend.

* Cristiano Ronaldo played poker for charity

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo went to a TV show and played poker with TV series star Aaron Paul. At last the Portugal beat the Breaking Bad actor and won $20000. The bonus would be donated to the 'Save the Children' organisation for charity usage.

* FIFA ban Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid from making transfers in the next two transfer windows

Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are to each serve transfer bans in the next two transfer windows and have been charge with a fine of £278,000 and £695,000 respectively.

An official statement on the FIFA website was released today and it confirmed both Madrid giants had seen their appeals rejected by the organisation's Disciplinary Committee.

Statement in full:

The FIFA Appeal Committee has decided to reject the appeals lodged by Spanish clubs Atletico de Madrid and Real Madrid and to confirm in their entirety the decisions rendered by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee in the respective cases relating to the protection of minors.

As such, both clubs are to serve a transfer ban that prevents them from registering any players at national and international level for the next two complete and consecutive registration periods for breaching articles 5, 9, 19 and 19bis as well as annexes 2 and 3 of the Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players (the "Regulations"). The transfer ban applies to each club as a whole - with the exception of the women's, futsal and beach soccer teams - and does not prevent the release of players.

Additionally, Atletico de Madrid and Real Madrid have been fined £900,000 and £360,000 respectively, while both clubs have been issued with a reprimand and a warning and given 90 days in which to regularise the situation of all minor players concerned.

The grounds of the decisions taken by the FIFA Appeal Committee were communicated to the parties concerned today.

* Unai Emery confirms PSG wanted to keep David Luiz

Paris Saint-Germain manager Unai Emery has confirmed that he wanted to keep David Luiz but the the 29-year-old defender opted to join his former club Chelsea.

Instead of staying in Paris, the Brazil international completed his return to Stamford Bridge on transfer deadline day for a reported £34 million fee on a three-year deal.

Here's what the Spanish boss has said regarding Luiz's departure.
"The transfer window is over, I wanted David Luiz here but he said he had a good offer from Chelsea and he wanted to leave.

"He knew my position, then he spoke with the club and he obtained his agreement."
