Colchester vs Exeter - Owen Garvan expected to miss Colchester's clash

Colchester look set to again be without midfielder Owen Garvan for the visit of Exeter as he continues to recover from a leg problem.

New loan signing Glen Kamara from Arsenal is away on international duty with Finland under-21s, while midfielder Craig Slater has joined up with Scotland under-21s.

Winger Tarique Fosu has signed until January from Reading, so may be involved.

Left-back Matt Briggs continues his rehabilitation following surgery on a hip problem, while teenage winger Courtney Senior has been ruled out for the rest of the season following a knee operation.

Exeter will be strengthened by a pair of loan signings.

Defender Luke Croll has joined from Crystal Palace and Jack Stacey arrived from Reading and both go straight into the squad.

Midfielder Lee Holmes is still not quite ready following a foot injury.

Defender Troy Archibald-Henville has yet to feature this season and is a few weeks away from making a return.
