Millwall vs Bradford - Millwall boss Neil Harris weighs up injury worries

Posted Friday, September 02, 2016 by PA

Millwall manager Neil Harris is juggling multiple injury problems as his team prepares to host Bradford in League One.

Lee Gregory and Joe Martin are doubtful because of respective hip and shoulder injuries, and Fred Onyedinma is to be assessed after picking up a knock.

Shaun Hutchison has been ruled out because of a hamstring injury, while Shaun Cummings' long-term knee problem means he is yet to return to full training.

Shane Ferguson and Nadjim Abdou are also absent after being called up for international duty. The absence of a fit left-back means Harris could consider a change of system.

Bradford's two deadline-day signings Marc McNulty and Haris Vuckic could both make their debuts for the club.

Striker McNulty has arrived on loan from Sheffield United until the end of the season and Slovenia international Vuckic has been loaned from Newcastle until January.

Boss Stuart McCall will assess James Hanson before making a decision on his possible return. The striker has missed the past three games due to a calf problem.

But McCall is expected to be without defenders Tony McMahon (calf), Stephen Darby (groin), Rory McArdle (shoulder) and Nathan Clarke (calf) again.
