Morecambe vs Leyton Orient - James Jennings and Ntumba Massanka in contention for debuts

Transfer deadline day recruits James Jennings and Ntumba Massanka are set to come into Morecambe's squad for Saturday's League Two home clash with Leyton Orient.

Defender Jennings and striker Massanka have joined the table-topping Shrimps on loan from Cheltenham and Burnley respectively.

Skipper Peter Murphy will hope to be involved again after he came off the bench in Tuesday's Checkatrade Trophy game at Bury for his first appearance since picking up a knee ligament injury in January.

Aaron Wildig and Dean Winnard (both knee) remain sidelined, while Luke Conlan is unavailable as he is with Northern Ireland Under-21s.

Leyton Orient could hand debuts to French duo Teddy Mezague and Ulrich N'Nomo.

Defender Mezague and forward N'Nomo joined the O's during the final week of the transfer window and both players could feature as Orient look to get back to winning ways in League Two.

But manager Andy Hessenthaler will be without Sean Clohessy and Scott Kashket after the terminations of both of their contracts.

Jay Simpson is pushing for a start while teenage forward Sam Dalby could also feature after making his senior debut during Orient's midweek victory over Stevenage.
