Arsene Wenger has heaped praise on Manchester United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan and believes the Armenian will bring something new to the Red Devils.
The attacking midfielder joined the Red Devils from Borussia Dortmund for £26million earlier this summer and Wenger believes that goals were the only thing missing from his game until last term.
Arsenal had been linked to the 27-year-old in previous transfer windows but it was Jose Mourinho who secured his services this summer and Wenger feels he has a lot offer to Man United.
Speaking to Arsenal.com the 66-year-old said, "He has always been a very good midfielder but last year was the first year where he scored goals.
"I think he scored 10 goals in the Bundesliga so that of course makes him more dangerous. He will bring something to Man United."
Mkhitaryan, who earns £200,000-a-week (via Bild), produced the form of his career last season as he managed 11 goals and and 15 assists across 31 Bundesliga appearances.
Despite a fantastic season last year and a hefty transfer fee, the Armenia captain is yet to start a Premier League under Mourinho this term.
However, Mkhitaryan did produce a fine performance after coming on as a substitute in United's 1-0 win away to Hull City on Saturday, during which he completed four take-ons.
Now he will be hoping the strong impact he's had off the bench is enough to put himself into the starting XI after the international break when Pep Guardiola's Manchester City visit Old Trafford.
