West Brom swoop for Spurs forward Chadli

West Bromwich Albion have announced the signing of Belgium international Nacer Chadli from Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur on a four-year deal.
The 27-year-old has joined the Baggies for an undisclosed fee, believed to be in the region of £13 million, after falling out of favour under Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino.
Chadli is West Brom manager Tony Pulis' second permanent signing of the current transfer window, following the capture of Matt Phillips from Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.
The arrival of Chadli is likely to see one more player depart the club, though, with Pulis recently revealing that he expected Newcastle-linked Callum McManaman to depart the club ahead of the transfer deadline on Wednesday.
Speaking to the club's official website, Pulis said: "He's a top, top player and I'm delighted we've got him.
"I said last week that these signings all had to be about players who would improve our squad – and Nacer does precisely that."
Chadli, meanwhile, is relishing showing the club's supporters what he's capable of, and says he is determined to help the Baggies win as many games as possible.
"I feel very good to be here," Chadli said. "It came very quickly but I spoke to the Club and they have a good team, a good manager and I am very pleased to be here.
"My ambitions? I just want to help the team win as many games as possible."
