West Ham United have confirmed the signing of Juventus forward Simone Zaza on a season-long deal, as reported on their official website.
The Hammers have seemingly been on the hunt for a new marquee marksman to round off their seismic stadium move over the course of the entire summer.
After breaking their transfer record for Swansea City forward Andre Ayew earlier this summer, the Ghanian picked up a long-term injury on his debut for the East London outfit.
Now, they have landed the Italian international in a bid to add further firepower to their ailing frontline.
The Irons confirm on their official site that he has joined on an initial loan for €5m, an arrangement that will progress into a €20m permanent deal should he make a certain number of appearances.
Included in the Azzzurri squad for Euro 2016, the 25-year-old has found playing time increasingly limited with the Serie A champions.
Following the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain in Turin, the former Sassulo man has been allowed to leave.
