Stenhousemuir 2 - 2 Airdrieonians: Fraser Kerr bags late leveller and then sees red as Stenhousemuir claim point

Ten-man Stenhousemuir picked up their first point of the Ladbrokes League One season with an entertaining 2-2 draw against Airdrie.

Colin McMenamin headed home Mark Gilhaney's cross to give the hosts a surprise lead after 15 minutes.

Iain Russell equalised with a penalty shortly after half-time following a foul on strike partner Andy Ryan.

Adam Brown converted a rebound after Russell's effort was well saved after 64 minutes but Stenhousemuir dug deep and Fraser Kerr blasted an equaliser three minutes from time.

Russell had a chance to win it in the dying seconds but headed over late on and Kerr was sent off in the fourth minute of stoppage time for two quick bookings.
