Queen's Park vs Livingston - Queen's Park without trio for Livingston test
Posted Friday, August 26, 2016 by PA
Queen's Park will be without the injured Gavin Mitchell (ankle), Tony Quinn (hip) and Jamie McKernan (foot) when they host table-topping Livingston.
Liam Brown is added after missing out on the goalless draw at Brechin last weekend with Spiders head coach Gus MacPherson warning his men to be wary.
MacPherson explained: "Livingston are a side that can score goals if you switch off at all. They have good attacking options in midfield and up front and it will be a real test for us to keep them in check.
"However we defended well at Brechin and kept a clean sheet. We will look to do the same in this game."
Livingston manager David Hopkin has a full squad to choose from as he looks to keep his side's perfect start to the season going.
Dale Carrick IS pushing for a starting place after a hand injury.
Hopkin said: "We have played well in our league games so far however we know that winning at Queen's Park will be a challenge. They will be a very well-organised and a very fit side who will look to stop us creating danger against them.
"We have a good bit of positive momentum behind us just now and will look to build more with a win. But it will not be easy."
