Albion Rovers FC vs Alloa Athletic - Injury problems for Albion ahead of Alloa clash

Albion Rovers player/manager Darren Young has delayed naming his side to face in-form Alloa.

Kevin McCann, Paul Archibald, Ross Davidson and Ryan Wallace are all struggling with knocks.

Young said: "We could be a bit stretched but we will just get on with things. Alloa have done really well and they have a squad full of good players but if we play like we can then we can get a result.

"We got a good point at Peterhead last weekend when we came back from two goals down, however if we had taken all our chances we would not have been losing. Hopefully lessons have been learned."

Alloa look for their ninth consecutive win without Jamie Longworth who has a hand injury and Isaac Layne who has joined Stirling Albion on loan.

The Wasps hope to add Celtic youngster Luke Donnelly on loan before kick-off with manager Jack Ross determined that his side keep on winning.

Ross said: "We had to show a resolute side to our game last weekend to defeat East Fife and we will need to show a similar approach to win this one.

"Darren Young has done a great job there and his team will make it very dangerous for us but if we show all our qualities then we can win."
