Coventry vs Northampton Town - Coventry bolstered by return of Jordan Turnbull

Jordan Turnbull is back for Coventry's visit of Northampton after serving a one-match ban.

The defender was dismissed on his debut as the Sky Blues lost 3-1 at Bradford last Saturday and missed Tuesday's 6-1 EFL Cup hammering at Norwich.

Chris Stokes and Ivor Lawton remain long-term absentees while Andy Rose is expected to be out for a number of weeks with a knee injury and Jodi Jones (groin) remains a doubt along with Marvin Sordell (knee).

Coventry are still looking for their first league win of the season having drawn two and lost two of their opening Sky Bet League One games.

Raheem Hanley is in line to make his Northampton debut after overcoming a thigh injury.

The left-back, who joined from Swansea over the summer, came through 70 minutes for the reserves in midweek.

Emmanuel Sonupe, another summer signing, is pushing for a start in midfield after making his Cobblers debut as a 72nd-minute substitute in last Saturday's goalless draw with AFC Wimbledon.

Rob Page's side are now unbeaten in 26 games after Tuesday's EFL Cup penalty shoot-out win against West Brom, which earned them a home tie with Manchester United.
