PAUL MERSON COLUMN: Arsenal and Arsene Wenger are in a crisis
FORGET Hull – the Premier League’s biggest crisis club is Arsenal.

PRESSURE: Arsenal and Wenger are already being criticised this season
Plenty of people said Hull were a shambles, losing their manager so close to the start of the season and not buying any players.
But they beat the champions. Look what happened to Arsenal. They let four in at home to Liverpool!
If Arsenal lose at Leicester today they’re already playing catch-up for the title. No-one backed them before. What chance do they have if they give their rivals a six-point head start?
It’s nowhere near good enough. This is Arsenal Football Club. This is a big club. They have millions in the bank and they can go out and buy virtually anyone.
But they have started the season without a proper centre back and they still look short of real quality up front.
I honestly think Arsene Wenger lives in his own little world sometimes.
He bought a player for £32m in Granit Xhaka and puts him sub. What’s all that about? Why was Laurent Koscielny not playing?
