Bayern CEO slams Dortmund fans

FC Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has hit out at Borussia Dortmund fans for their treatment of former player Mats Hummels during the DFL-Supercup on Sunday.
Goals from Arturo Vidal and Thomas Muller sealed a 2-0 away win for Bayern, for whom Hummels was making his competitive debut since signing in the off-season from Dortmund.
The 27-year-old found himself booed by his former supporters every time he received the ball.
"Ingratitude is the world's wage," Bayern chairman Rummenigge was quoted as saying by ESPN.
"It's a disaster that someone who gave everything for the club for years is booed like that – it's so disappointing."
Hummels, who won two Bundesliga titles, two Supercups and the DFB-Pokal during his eight years with Dortmund, admits that it has not been an easy situation to contend with.
"I was caught out when I felt so emotional before my entrance into the stadium. It was a strange situation," he told Bild.
"You can treat the subject as you wish. There are also a lot of very positive things still. I still see people write on Twitter and Facebook, who value our time together. To them, I try to respond to say that I see it that way."
