Sheffield United's on-loan teenager Harry Chapman is hoping to make his first start for the club in the home game against Southend.
Winger Chapman, 18, made his Blades debut off the bench in Saturday's 1-1 home draw against Rochdale after joining on a season-long loan deal from Middlesbrough.
Manager Chris Wilder has no new injury or suspension issues but could be tempted to make one or two changes as he chases his first league win in charge of the club.
Jack O'Connell shook off a knock in time to start at the weekend, while fellow defender Jake Wright hopes to make his first competitive appearance and midfielder Stefan Scougall is pushing for his first start of the season.
Nile Ranger is still battling a groin problem ahead of their trip to Bramall Lane.
The former Newcastle United forward signed with the Essex club during the summer but has yet to feature this season.
Michael Timlin is still some weeks away from returning to the squad as he continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury.
Abdul Salami picked up a head injury in last weekend's defeat to Port Vale and could miss out but Southend boss Phil Brown has no fresh injury concerns for the game.
