Greenock vs Falkirk - Striker set for Morton debut

Kudus Oyenago is included in the Morton squad for the first time this season against Falkirk.

Oyenago is free to play after international clearance was received for the striker following a spell with English League Two side Hartlepool. Elsewhere for the Greenock club, Conor Pepper (knee) remains out and Mark Russell is doubtful after illness.

Morton manager Jim Duffy is looking for his side to build on their Betfred Cup win over Hamilton in midweek, he said: "We played well at the home of a Premiership club and we need to keep the momentum we have built up going.

"Falkirk will be tough opponents and this game has been made even harder after they opened their league campaign with a defeat to Hibs."

Falkirk have Mark Kerr available after a ban but Peter Grant remains out with a knee injury and Liam Henderson is struggling with a thigh problem.

Bairns boss Peter Houston said: "Morton have had a good start to their season so this will be a very tough game. We are still disappointed at losing to Hibs last weekend as we gave away a couple of soft goals and missed chances.

"We started that game really slowly and we need to be ready from the first whistle in this one. It would be great to move on from the Hibs game and get our season moving forward with a win in Greenock."
