Carlisle vs Plymouth - Jamie Devitt back for Carlisle

Carlisle welcome winger Jamie Devitt back into the squad for the visit of Plymouth.

The summer signing was sent off for two yellow cards on his debut for the Cumbrians last weekend but served his suspension in midweek.

Manager Keith Curle will continue to assess defender Shaun Brisley (ankle) and striker Jabo Ibehre (knee).

Macaulay Gillesphey should return in place of Mark Ellis, while Charlie Wyke made a strong case by scoring against Port Vale in the EFL Cup.

Plymouth are set to be without two of the four centre-backs in their squad as former Latvia international Nauris Bulvitis and Karleigh Osborne remain unavailable.

Bulvitis, who played in eight of Argyle's nine pre-season games, is still awaiting international clearance to play competitive matches.

Osborne is recovering from a thigh strain sustained in the first week of pre-season training that has stopped him from being involved.

Goalkeeper Luke McCormick is hoping to be restored to the starting line-up after being left out against Reading in the cup on Tuesday.
