Peterborough vs Bradford - Tom Nichols could land Peterborough start

Tom Nichols is in contention to start against Bradford after scoring twice in Peterborough's 3-2 EFL Cup win over AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday.

The 22-year-old striker came on as a substitute to help Posh progress to the second round.

Jerome Binnom-Williams is pushing to make his debut for Grant McCann's side after being an unused substitute in midweek.

Peterborough have no fresh injury worries as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the season.

Josh Cullen is set to make his first appearance for Bradford since returning to the club on loan from West Ham.

The 20-year-old, who had a successful spell with the Bantams in the second half of last season, rejoined on a five-month loan deal on Monday. Although not cup-tied, Cullen was not in manager Stuart McCall's squad for Tuesday's EFL Cup tie with Accrington, who won 11-10 on penalties after a goalless draw.

Bradford's limited resources meant McCall's squad on Tuesday contained 16 players rather than the usual 18, and Saturday's game is set to come too soon for Nathan Clarke and Timothee Dieng, who are recovering from calf problems.

Clarke will be out for two weeks with a grade one tear but Dieng could feature against MK Dons on Tuesday.
