Wolves vs Reading - No new worries for Royals ahead of Wolves clash

Posted Thursday, August 11, 2016 by PA

Reading have no fresh injury worries as they look to continue their impressive start under new boss Jaap Stam.

The Royals began their Sky Bet Championship campaign with a 1-0 victory against Preston before advancing into the second round of the EFL Cup with a 2-0 win over Plymouth.

New signing Yakou Meite could make his first start for the club after coming on as a second-half substitute in midweek.

Midfielder Liam Kelly is also pushing for a place in the starting XI, but Stam is expected to make few changes to his side.

Dominic Iorfa will return for Wolves after serving a suspension in their cup win over Crawley.

Dave Edwards, Jon Dadi Bodvarsson and Carl Ikeme are all set to start after being on the bench for the 2-1 first-round victory on Tuesday.

Mike Williamson remains sidelined and has not been given a squad number as he battles for fitness while Nouha Dicko is closing in on a return from a knee injury.

Michal Zyro and Jordan Graham (both knee) are out, with forward Zyro not expected to return before Christmas after missing the end of last season.
