Barnsley vs Derby - Sessi D'Almeida in contention for Barnsley's clash with Derby

Barnsley have new signing Sessi D'Almeida available for their first home game of the Sky Bet Championship campaign against Derby.

The Benin midfielder played twice during a pre-season trial and has been snapped up on a two-year deal.

The Tykes played 120 minutes in their EFL Cup defeat to Northampton in midweek but manager Paul Heckingbottom says there are no new fitness concerns.

Striker Sam Winnall is expected to be back in contention by the end of the month after an MRI scan showed a grade one hamstring injury.

Derby will have Marcus Olsson available for the first time this season.

The Swedish full-back suffered concussion during the Rams' pre-season game against Sheffield United and was not involved against Brighton or Grimsby, but he has resumed training this week.

Boss Nigel Pearson made five changes in the EFL Cup and more are likely for the trip to Oakwell with the likes of Jason Shackell, Jeff Hendrick and Tom Ince pushing to be restored to the starting line-up.

Andreas Weimann (knee) is still out but it is hoped he will be back after the international break, while fellow forward Abdoul Camara (hip) and midfielder George Thorne (leg) are also injury absentees.
