Brechin defender Paul McLean misses out with a knee injury and midfielder Gary Fusco has work commitments against Stenhousemuir at Glebe Park.

The hosts will welcome Willie Dyer back to their ranks for the first game of the new Ladbrokes Scottish League One season.

Player/ manager Darren Dods said: "We won our last six games at Glebe and that led to us staying up.

"It would be great to have the momentum we built up behind us again quickly in this new campaign."

Stenhousemuir have fitness doubts over defenders Ciaran Summers and Jim Paterson.

The Warriors will also include a trialist midfielder in their ranks as they to bolster the numbers.

Manager Brown Ferguson said: "This is a difficult game to start with as we are away from home against a side that did well in the Betfred Cup whilst we lost our four games.

"We are still a bit light of players especially attacking ones however the players involved in this game have the chance to make a starting jersey their own."
