Dunfermline vs Dumbarton - Jason Talbot suspended for Dunfermline

League One champions Dunfermline kick-off against Dumbarton without suspended full-back Jason Talbot.

However, Ryan Williamson, Nat Wedderburn, Rhys McCabe and Gavin Reilly are available after knocks and Andy Geggan returns after a ban.

Callum Fordyce is not yet available after a broken leg and David Hopkirk is an injury doubt.

Manager Allan Johnston said: "Dumbarton have an experienced squad and they will present a real challenge to us. They pose a lot of threat at set-pieces and we need to be ready for that. But we will look to take the game to them and get our campaign off to a good start."

The Sons have added goalkeeper Alan Martin from Hamilton this week as well as bringing in Aberdeen defender Daniel Harvie on loan and both players are set for debuts at East End Park.

Frazer Wright and Darren Barr will need to pass fitness tests to be involved, while Grant Gallagher is suspended.

Manager Stephen Aitken said: "Alan and Daniel are straight into my plans and I'm glad they are here as we could be short of bodies again.

"Dunfermline will have a big crowd backing them and will be looking to get off to a flyer, but we will look to start in a positive fashion."
