Millwall vs Oldham - Millwall sweating on Shaun Hutchinson's fitness

New signing Shaun Hutchinson faces a late fitness test before Millwall manager Neil Harris selects his team for Saturday's Sky Bet League One visit of Oldham.

The defender suffered a hamstring injury in the recent friendly against Brentford but could yet be passed fit. Ben Thompson also came off having suffered a knock, but is expected to be available.

An Achilles injury disrupted Joe Martin's pre-season, so a lack of match fitness means he is unlikely to start. Shaun Cummings also remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury.

David Worrall, meanwhile, is in line for his competitive debut, with fellow new arrival Greg Wylde also likely to make Harris' squad.

Oldham boss Stephen Robinson will make his managerial debut in London.

The Northern Irishman has a squad that contains 14 new players and is continuing to look for recruits.

Veteran defender Peter Clarke has arrived from neighbours Bury and will take the captain's armband, while this week midfielder Ousmane Fane became their latest signing.

Other potential debutants include Josh Law, Jamie Reckford, Luke Woodland, Chris Kettings, Ryan Flynn, Marc Klok, Oliver Banks, Paul Green, Darius Osei, Connor Ripley, Cameron Burgess, Billy McKay and Lee Erwin.
