Blackburn winger Craig Conway hopes to be fit for the visit of Norwich at Ewood Park.

The 31-year-old has missed the last fortnight with a thigh problem, but returned to training on Monday.

Rovers signed former Brighton defender Gordon Greer on Tuesday after a successful trial to bolster their defensive options.

Centre-back Shane Duffy and midfielder Ben Marshall, who are both expected to start at the weekend, are to be offered new contracts with less than 12 months remaining on their current deals.

Norwich could hand a debut to midfielder Alex Pritchard after completing a permanent move from Tottenham.

Forward Sergi Canos is also expected to be involved in the squad following his B#2.5million transfer from Liverpool.

Captain Russell Martin has been troubled by a back problem, but Swiss central defender Timm Klose has returned to full fitness after missing the end of last season with a knee injury which ruled him out of Euro 2016.

Veteran goalkeeper Paul Jones has signed on a free transfer after leaving Portsmouth and will offer more back-up to Canaries' number one John Ruddy along with fellow new arrival Michael McGovern.
