Blackpool vs Exeter - Blackpool set to field a new-look side for League Two opener against Exeter

Blackpool could field a new-look side as they begin life in Sky Bet League Two and under Gary Bowyer against Exeter at Bloomfield Road.

Defender Eddie Nolan this week became the Seasiders' latest summer recruit, following Jamille Matt, Kyle Vassell, Andy Taylor, Kelvin Mellor, Colin Daniel, Danny Pugh and Sam Slocombe.

New Zealand midfielder Henry Cameron is back in contention after suffering a serious knee injury last November.

Defender Pugh and forward Danny Philliskirk should be fit after a sickness bug while Matt and Jack Redshaw will hope to overcome niggles.

Exeter have fitness concerns over Jordan Moore-Taylor and Lee Holmes.

The pair were on the end of heavy tackles in last week's friendly victory over a Cardiff City XI when they were both carried off the pitch.

Craig Woodman and Connor Riley-Lowe are in the frame to replace left-back Moore-Taylor, while veteran David Wheeler and Liam McAlinden could step in for midfielder Holmes.

Jamaican winger Joel Grant (calf) is also doubtful and highly-rated teenager Ethan Ampadu, who trained with the senior Wales squad ahead of Euro 2016 this summer, could make his league debut in a reshaped midfield.
