Diego Costa caught on camera discussing transfer with Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos

TALKS: Sergio Ramos and Diego Costa have been filmed discussing the forward's future

DIEGO COSTA has apparently told Sergio Ramos that Chelsea are preventing him from returning to Atletico Madrid.

The Blues striker has been eyeing a return to the Spanish capital after a disastrous season in west London last term.

Atleti are also keen but they have been meeting stiff resistance from Chelsea.

And it looks like Costa will be staying if this report from Spanish TV station Cuatro is accurate.

In a video filmed after Chelsea's 3-2 pre-season loss to Real Madrid, Ramos asks Costa: "Why don't you come back to Madrid?"

Costa is facing away from the camera but the Real defender replies to the striker's answer with surprise.

He says: "They won't let you?" Before adding "Ahh… because [Kevin] Gameiro is coming."

Atletico have snapped up Gameiro from Sevilla after apparently hitting a brick wall in negotiations for Costa.

Last week Blues boss Antonio Conte admitted he wasn't sure what Costa's future held but now it may be clearer.

He said: "I can say today that Costa is a Chelsea player.

"He didn't play in this game because of injury and if he solves this injury and I see him in training and he is in good shape, then it can be possible to see him in our next game against Milan.

"I speak for today and today Costa is a Chelsea player. Tomorrow, if you ask me if Costa will remain with us, I don't know."
