Manchester United are ready to break the world transfer record to re-sign Pogba
JUVENTUS coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed his club are in talks with Manchester United over Paul Pogba.
United are willing to pay a world-record £100m to bring their former trainee midfielder back to Old Trafford.
Allegri, speaking here ahead of their International Champions Cup friendly against Atletico Madrid on Saturday night, said: “Pogba is a Juventus player at the moment but we don’t know what is going to happen. The club are looking after negotiations.”
Juve yesterday completed the signing of Croatian winger Marko Pjaca from Dinamo Zagreb for £20m.
Allegri said: “He is another quality addition so whatever happens with Pogba, we will be in good shape.”
