Fourteen players who helped the United States win the Women’s World Cup last summer in Canada were named Tuesday to an Olympic squad that will seek a fourth consecutive gold medal in Rio de Janeiro. There were no surprises on Coach Jill Ellis’s roster, only a touch of intrigue surrounding midfielder Megan Rapinoe, who has not played since tearing an ACL last fall. The influential winger rejoined the group July 1 and performed well enough in training camp to reclaim her spot. She is likely to play in the last tuneup before the delegation departs for Brazil, a July 22 friendly against Costa Rica in Kansas City, Kan.
