The Daily Mirror claim Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai SIPG are ready to lodge a £35m bid for the 25-year-old.

Other clubs said to be interested in Kante are Premier League duo Arsenal and Chelsea, as well as Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris St-Germain.

The France international will be involved in the Euro 2016 final on Sunday evening as the hosts take on Portugal at the Stade de France.

And Sven-Goran Eriksson's Shanghai side are set to make a massive swoop for the player Sir Alex Ferguson ranked as the best in the Premier League last season.

Clubs from the Chinese Super League believe they can offer whopping wages and huge fees European sides simply cannot match.

But Leicester are not prepared to part with Kante, who played 37 out of 38 Premier League games for them, without a fight.

The Foxes feel they have a good chance of keeping hold of the Frenchman, as his professional character means he could want to stay and help the club with their first tilt at the Champions League.

Kante signed for Leicester for just £4.8m last summer from French side Caen.

The central midfielder's future will be decided in the coming weeks after Euro 2016 reaches its climax this Sunday.
