LAST HAR-RAH Pep Guardiola set to give England’s Euro 2016 flops Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling the chance to join in Manchester City revolution

PEP GUARDIOLA will give Joe Hart and Raheem Sterling the chance to prove they can be part of his  City revolution.

But the England flops  have been warned they will be dumped if they do not come up to scratch.

Keeper Hart and wideman Sterling both had a nightmare Euro 2016.

Boss Guardiola said: "They were criticised when England lost.

"But I don't worry about the performance of Joe Hart in the Euros.

"It's similar with Sterling. Last season, expectation was high and, OK, he didn't play regularly and his confidence went down.

"It's important to know what is their quality — to analyse their quality and to decide what we are going to do with him.

"We're always looking for the best option to  create a better team."

The good news for the pair is that Guardiola wants a core of homegrown players — just as he has at previous clubs.

He said: "In Barcelona the basis was Catalan players, in Bayern the basis was German. I would like to work with English players here but they are so expensive."
