BOOST: Williams has recovered from his shoulder knock
The Dragons skipper was rated a serious doubt for the last eight clash in Lille after injuring his shoulder in Saturday's victory over Northern Ireland.
But manager Chris Coleman now expects Williams to be fit to take on Eden Hazard and company.
"He is not a worry or a doubt," said Coleman.
"I would be surprised is he doesn't make the game. We will look after him."
Williams damaged his left shoulder in a collision with team-mate Jonny Williams.
"We think it was when Ash fell after he collided with Jonny, he landed on his hand with a straight arm which had a bit of an impact on his shoulder," said Coleman.
"He's a bit bruised and sore but he'll be fine. It wasn't dislocated, although knowing Ash he would try and play if it was.
"We will get him on the grass as soon as we can although it probably won't be for the next day or two.
"I wanted to take him off because I thought he couldn't move with his shoulder, and we had James Collins on the pitch ready to come on.
"But Ash being Ash he didn't want to come off and we were right to leave him on. He thrives on it.
"All players at the top level want to play against top teams, where the excitement is, Ash is no different."
