MANCHESTER UNITED have been told they can buy Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriguez this summer for £50million.
The Colombia captain failed to seal a regular starting spot in the Real starting XI last season, and it has been recently reported that he has put his house in Madrid up for sale.
Rodriguez, 24, shares the same agent as newly-appointed United boss Jose Mourinho, Jorge Mendes, meaning the deal could be accelerated now that Colombia have been knocked out of the Copa America.

Rodriguez joined Real for £56m from Monaco after the 2014 World Cup, but could be available to United for around £50m, according to the Daily Mirror.
Colombia were knocked out of the Copa America on Wednesday, losing 2-0 to Chile in the semi-final in Chicago.
Mourinho's United have made one signing so far this summer – £30m defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.
Mourinho said: "Eric is a young central defender who has great natural talent. He's progressed well to date and has the potential to become one of the best around," said Mourinho.
"We look forward to working with him to help nurture that raw talent and fulfil his potential. Eric is at the right club to continue his development."
