Raheem Sterling was the only member of the England squad not to vote in the EU referendum today.

The Man City winger attempted to place his vote but was unable to do so after he struggled to put a cross in the box.

Something he's struggled with all summer.

Fellow voter Lee Satchell saw the whole thing unfold: "He was really struggling and looked so low on confidence. He was trying hard but all his crosses went wide of the box, or too deep.

"Next time he'd be better off getting Jamie Vardy to vote by proxy."

The majority of the squad had no problem with the process with captain Wayne Rooney distributing ballot papers from the middle of the room.

Danny Sturridge turned up with only a few seconds remaining but was able to get finish his vote confidently.
