Arsenal enter the chase to sign 15-goal Fulham star

CHASE: Arsenal have entered the race to sign Moussa Dembele

The 19-year-old's contract is set to expire and he has a host of clubs chasing his signature.

Chelsea invited Dembele to a game at Stamford Bridge in April, Liverpool and Manchester United were previously linked with the French starlet while reports in Turkey last week suggested his agent had met with Galatasaray.

According to ESPN, Arsenal have joined the race with Arsene Wenger on the hunt for new strikers.

The Gunners are waiting to see if Jamie Vardy will accept a move to the Emirates Stadium after triggering his release clause while Danny Welbeck is out on a long-term basis with a knee injury.

Dembele hit 15 league goals last season in 46 appearances for Fulham.

He has so far refused to extend his contract at Craven Cottage but GetWestLondon reported that the Championship club recently offered him increased terms.

Slavisa Jokanovic is desperate to keep Dembele on board ahead of his first full season in charge of Fulham.

"I believe there is a possibility to get Moussa to stay," he said in April.

Tottenham came close to signing Dembele in the January transfer window but the move collapsed after Spurs refused to allow him to spend the rest of the campaign at Fulham.
