PSG eye £46m move for Philippe Coutinho: French giants want Liverpool star

French outlet Le10 Sport - in their monthly magazine - claim PSG have made their intentions clear and are willing to spend a staggering £46m to land Coutinho this summer.

Starsport understands the Ligue 1 side have yet to make an approach to the Reds for the former Inter Milan star.

But they are believed to have contacted the Brazilian attacker’s representatives.

Coutinho, 23, scored 12 goals last season for the Reds and provided seven assists.

He is likely to attract interest from a host of European clubs this summer after another good season.

Scouts are sure to watching Coutinho at this summer’s Copa America.

PSG are looking to add to their attacking line-up with the loss of talisman Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swede striker is expected to sign for Manchester United after leaving the French club at the end of the season.

Coutinho arrived at Liverpool in January 2013 from Inter in an £8.5m deal.

He signed a new five-year deal in February 2015 which means the Reds would not let him leave the club on the cheap.

Kop boss Jurgen Klopp is also looking to add to his attacking talent this summer and could move for Southampton’s Sadio Mane.

Germany ace Mario Gotze was a target but it appears the Bayern Munich man may look to stay in the Bundesliga for at least another year.
