Manchester United teenager Timothy Fosu-Mensah has praised Louis van Gaal's communication skills and admits to being curious about Jose Mourinho.
The 18-year-old showed immense promise under the leadership of Van Gaal and has made it clear that he intends to keep developing with the help of new Red Devils manager Mourinho.
"I've never heard a player speak badly about Mourinho," Fosu-Mensah told Voetbal International. "I'm curious – I want to develop into a top player for Manchester United under him. That's the next step in my plan.
"You're 18 and you've had Van Gaal and Mourinho as your managers. Really, it's unbelievable."
Despite rumours that Van Gaal's relationship with his players had been severely damaged towards the end of his reign at Old Trafford, Fosu-Mensah only had positive things to say about his compatriot.
"I can only speak for myself and, for me, Van Gaal was good, the best I ever had," he said. "Yes, he was present and he talked a lot, but he was like that with everyone, with the aim of improving you as a player. He succeeded in doing that with me. I can notice that about everything."
